When i found out Kin Kin Chilli Pan Mee is now available in Singapore, i jumped for joy! Ok i shall call it Ban Mian because in Singapore we call it Ban Mian.
Just a few days back, i had a craving for it and i can't believe i actually managed to get a taste of it without driving 4 hours up to Kuala Lumpur.
If you came across my KL post last year, you'd see that i visited the Kin Kin Pan Mee stall in KL and fell in love!
I have not came across any stall in Singapore which serves the same kind of Chilli Ban Mian. At Kin Kin, the chilli they use is dried roasted chilli flakes
Break the egg and mix it real good!
So....how was it???
It tasted similar to KL's except the Chilli is not as spicy. I am a huge fan of spicy stuff so i reeeeally wish they'd make the chilli the same as KL's. :(
It's still good though! Satisfied my kin kin pan me craving fo' sure!
I thought they took too long to serve us the food though...
Oh! And we went at 5.30pm and at around 6pm we heard the noodles were "Sold Out". My friend and i just looked at each other and went "Whaaaat?! Then what can they sell?!" Lol. It's so weird because that's what the specialize in and 5.30pm wasn't even dinner time yet! Man, the dinner crowd must have felt so disappointed. Guess they didn't expect it to be such a hit in SG.
